Jo's Day Care Academy is Bringing Your Children Brighter Days

Jo’s Daycare Academy provides early childhood education and care for young children. Its mission is to increase the success of low income young children in academic, social-emotional, and literacy skills and to empower the families as partners in their children’s success. Jo’s believes that parents should be involved in their children’s early learning process so they provide opportunities for parents to volunteer in classrooms for story time, art projects, field trips and they also host a “Father-Child Day” event once a year. Jo’s Daycare Academy’s services include child care, early head start and head start programs, an after school program and a summer program.

In September 2010 Jo’s Daycare Academy filed for approval to the City of Milwaukee to become a charter school for children ages 3-5 kindergarden. This upcoming fall, Jo’s anticipates the grand opening of its new charter school.

The entire month of August 2011, Jo’s will be hosting a series of “Brighter Days” events to celebrate this new accomplishment, to get students and parents involved in the new school, and to enroll students. The “Brighter Days” celebration includes a different event every Saturday in August to give information about the brighter days ahead for Jo’s Daycare Academy and their students.
